If you're having renovations done on your home, now's the time to rent portable toilets. Adding portable toilets can increase productivity. It can also help maintain comfort for your construction crew. If you want to improve the experience for your construction crew, read the list provided below. Here are some things to add when renting portable toilets.

Create A Temporary Enclosure

If you have a long-term renovation scheduled, you'll need to hire at least one portable toilet. If you have a large construction crew coming in, it's actually a good idea to hire a couple of portable toilets. If you want to create some privacy for the crew, add a temporary fence around the portable toilets. You can use timber fence panels to create an enclosure in order to provide privacy. The enclosure can also protect the portable toilets from vandalism, especially at night.

Reduce The Foul Odours

If you're going to hire portable toilets for your construction crew, don't forget about odour control. This is especially important for summer use. Odours can build up quite fast inside a portable toilet. Unfortunately, those odours can make using the facilities downright unpleasant. When arranging the hire of your portable toilets, be sure to add odour-stopping chemicals to your contract. Odour-stopping chemicals can get placed inside the holding tanks. That way, odours get eliminated before they can create an unpleasant situation.

Improve The Lighting

If you need to hire portable toilets for your home renovation project, be sure to add extra lighting. Most portable toilets don't come with interior lighting. Lack of lighting can make it difficult to see inside the portable toilet unit. If your construction crew will be working early in the morning, or late into the evening, add battery-powered lights inside the portable toilet units. It's also a good idea to add lighting around the outside of the portable toilet enclosure. That way, you can avoid trip and fall accidents.

Plan For Hygiene

If you have a construction crew coming in to do a renovation project on your home, don't stop at the portable toilet hire. Instead, you'll also want to hire at least one portable handwashing station for the contract. Handwashing stations allow your construction crew to maintain hygiene throughout the day. Handwashing stations also give the crew access to water for cooling-off purposes as well. This is important for when you have crews doing home renovation work during the summer.

About Me
How to Retool Your Industrial Workshop

Hello! Welcome to my blog. My name is Christopher. I inherited an industrial workshop from my late father-in-law. I have worked in industrial manufacturing all my life so I was pleased to finally have a workshop of my own. However, the tools and equipment in the workshop were past their best. I decided that the entire workshop would need to be retooled and new equipment would need to be purchased. A friend in the industry recommended a supply company and they sent out an agent who inspected my workshop and recommended the best types of tools and equipment to upgrade everything properly.
